About the position

The Video Editing/Motion Graphics Intern position at Green Bay Rockers offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports video production. Under the supervision of the Director of Partnerships, the intern will assist in implementing sponsorship and advertising contracts while creating engaging content for social media and in-game experiences. This internship is designed for individuals looking to enhance their skills in video editing and motion graphics within a dynamic sports environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce and direct the video webcast for each home game
• Serve as camera operator and technical director, including training as needed
• Create postgame highlight packages for every home game on NorthwoodsTV and other social media channels
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create creative and unique video content for the team's website, videoboard, and social media accounts
• Create commercials for marketing and in-game use
• Responsible for setup and takedown of video equipment each game day
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain all video production equipment
• Attend player/mascot/organization appearances in the community for promotional content as needed
• Assist other departments when requested or needed

Requirements

• Previous experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects is preferred, but not required
• Must be a creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas to enhance the fan experience through video
• Excellent communication skills
• Upbeat and fun personality
