About the position

The AWS Brand Creative and Content team is seeking a multi-disciplinary Video Editor to support the AWS Video and Studios team. This role is crucial in assisting the post-production team with video edits and motion graphics work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in film, media, or production, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a creative agency, network, or studio as a producer or editor. The candidate should possess a demonstrated track record of producing content for top brands and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A robust online portfolio or reel showcasing previous work is essential for this position. In this role, the Video Editor will work closely with business partners in the studio to create compelling video content. Responsibilities include editing and delivering video content along with light motion graphics work. The candidate will also collaborate with executive teams to ensure a high-quality production experience is met for executives. The position may require travel, both within the US and internationally, to support various events. Responsibilities

  • Assist the post-production team with video edits and motion graphics work.
  • Work with business partners in the studio to create compelling video content.
  • Edit and deliver video and light motion graphics work.
  • Collaborate with executive teams to ensure a high-quality production experience for executives.
  • Travel as necessary to support events, both in the US and abroad.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years' relevant experience at a creative agency, network, or studio as a producer or editor.
  • Demonstrated track record of producing content for top brands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust online portfolio or reel showcasing previous work.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specializing in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Advanced knowledge of contemporary digital cinema cameras such as RED, Arri, and Canon Cine series.
  • Advanced knowledge of studio lighting techniques.
  • Prior experience with transfer protocols and digital asset management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Live Production and Unreal Engine 3D backgrounds.
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams.
