About the position

The Video Editor / Content Creator at Cartell Group will play a key role in producing video content for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, including retail and medical. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with 20-30 brands, focusing on creating and curating content specifically for social media. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both editing and capturing footage to meet the unique needs of each client, requiring technical expertise, creativity, and an understanding of social media trends.

Responsibilities

  • Edit video content for various clients, ensuring consistency with brand tone and identity.
  • Develop original video content from start to finish, including filming, editing, and polishing for final delivery.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, applying them to different brands and niches effectively.
  • Manage and optimize content for posting across multiple social media platforms.
  • Work closely with the owner and creative director to understand each brand's unique needs and align video content accordingly.
  • Manage raw and edited video files, maintaining proper organization for easy access and future use.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing work across various industries and content types.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus.
  • Ability to shoot and capture high-quality video footage, with a keen understanding of lighting, framing, and sound.
  • Familiarity with post-production techniques, including color grading, sound design, and rendering for different platforms.
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor video content to resonate with different audiences.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in a team environment.
  • Understanding of social media platform requirements for video, including optimization strategies for engagement on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Passion for social media content creation and staying up-to-date with trends.
