About the position

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a talented Content Producer/Video Editor for Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen. This role is integral to our Digital Web Creative team, which is composed of skilled digital marketing designers and production coordinators. The team collaborates closely with editorial members to bring our websites, emails, and digital assets to life, embodying the Pottery Barn Kids brand voice. Additionally, we work in partnership with various cross-functional teams, including eCommerce, Development, Brand Marketing, and Merchandising, to ensure a cohesive and engaging digital presence. We pride ourselves on fostering a creative environment where ideas are shared, and support is given to help each team member excel while cultivating a strong sense of community. As a Content Producer/Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing video content tailored for Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen's digital platforms. This includes creating engaging videos for our websites, YouTube, paid advertisements, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media channels. You will adopt a digital-first and socially-led approach to video content creation, collaborating with the Creative Team to brainstorm, develop, and deliver compelling video content. Staying current with industry trends is essential to keep our brand at the forefront of editorial content and best practices. Responsibilities

  • Edit video content for Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen digital platforms and channels.
  • Create engaging videos for websites, YouTube, paid Ads, TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.
  • Adopt a digital-first and socially-led approach to video content creation.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to brainstorm, develop, and support video content through delivery.
  • Find new and engaging ways to elevate content to drive marketing goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends to keep the brand at the forefront of editorial content and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related work experience in video editing and content production.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with skills in color-grading.
  • A superb storyteller with an eye for composition and pacing.
  • Deep understanding of video techniques, trends, and best practices across all channels.
  • Mastery of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions for various platforms.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A 4-year bachelor's degree.
