About the position

The Video Editor position at Caesars Entertainment's internal creative agency, The Source, involves collaborating with the Creative Director and other team members to transform raw footage into engaging final products. Responsibilities

  • Edit video footage to produce engaging and cohesive final products for various Caesars Entertainment brands.
  • Manage individual editing tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients throughout all phases of a project to guarantee that deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Juggle multiple editing assignments simultaneously and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Adhere to established naming conventions and protocols when handling project data in shared storage systems.
  • Contribute ideas and best practices within the editing and creative teams.
  • Offer and solicit constructive feedback to continuously elevate the quality of output.
  • Assist in developing and refining post-production methods and technologies.
  • Coordinate with the Creative Director and the post-production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Edit projects according to specific scripts or editorial notes.
  • Execute client-specified revisions promptly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of finished projects to the Creative Director.
  • Report key project details to management and identify any obstacles impacting project timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in video/media production.
  • Strong proficiency in post-production processes and software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere).
  • Proven experience in a professional video editing role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of standard office software.
  • A portfolio or demo reel displaying previous work is mandatory for consideration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity and knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
