About the position

IXL Learning is seeking a freelance video editor to produce high-quality in-product videos specifically for the UK edition of IXL. The role involves editing existing videos to localize them, generating product graphics, capturing screen recordings, and ensuring adherence to video production guidelines. The ideal candidate should be creative, collaborative, and passionate about delivering exceptional video content that aligns with IXL's brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Edit existing in-product videos to localize them for the UK edition.
• Generate accurate product graphics and visuals using provided Premiere Pro templates.
• Capture and integrate clean screen recordings to showcase the product effectively.
• Edit and mix clean audio, including music tracks and voice-overs.
• Adhere to video production guidelines, graphics standards, and file specifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid editing experience with a focus on graphics-based videos.
• Expertise in Premiere Pro and proficiency in After Effects.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining work, discussing feedback, and providing updates.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a quality final product.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in producing video content for the education, edtech, or eLearning sectors.
