About the position

The Video Editor III / QC + Media Operator position at SPECTRAFORCE involves working on feature and episodic post-production workflows, focusing on quality control for audio and video assets. The role requires a strong technical background in mastering and editing software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and analyze master-level QC reports. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality media output and requires both independent problem-solving skills and collaboration with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Create, analyze, and troubleshoot master-level QC reports for audio and video assets.
• Utilize various mastering and NLE software programs for post-production tasks.
• Ensure compliance with HDR standards including Dolby Vision and HDR-10.
• Work independently to solve technical problems related to media production.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality standards in video editing.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of feature and episodic post-production workflows.
• Familiarity with audio/video containers, codecs, and file formats.
• Proficient in using ColorFront Transkoder, ProTools, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to create and analyze QC reports for audio and video assets.
• Technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
