About the position

The Video Editor role at PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter is a volunteer position focused on enhancing the organization's social media presence. The role involves creative content editing and management to engage the audience and promote community building through various social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the audience and develop a relatable voice for the organization.
  • Oversee the chapter's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter pages in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Edit content and create social teasers, music, graphics, and effects.
  • Design posts that align with chapter marketing goals.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search and user experience.
  • Optimize social media channels to maximize engagement with followers.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and experiment with new features.
  • Respond to inbound social media traffic.
  • Review reports with social analytics and trends to track growth.
  • Report on online reviews and feedback.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience in social media management.
  • Mid-level experience in video editing and content creation.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.

  • Experience using Asana for project management.
