The Video Editor position at Direct Agents is a part-time, contract role focused on creating engaging video content through motion graphics, compositing, and traditional editing. The role involves working closely with the Direct Agents Studio team to produce high-quality video materials for both internal and external use, while also contributing to the overall performance of the agency through innovative design solutions. Responsibilities

• Create video content using motion graphics, compositing, and traditional editing for internal and external use.
• Balance all aspects of video content creation from pre-production to final delivery.
• Provide innovative design solutions based on available promotional assets.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and learn key trends in the digital media space.
• Manage a large and constantly growing library of assets.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for manipulating vector graphics.
• Ability to assess project needs and determine necessary assets for video production.
• Extremely organized with the ability to manage a large library of assets.
• Knowledge of best export/encoding practices for various channels like YouTube, Vimeo, and TikTok.
• Experience in building creative briefs, video outlines, and scripts.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python and Power BI.
• Experience in post-production management.
• Knowledge of the latest software trends and plugins that enhance efficiency.
