About the position

The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for a full-time Video Editor/Producer to join their Content team. This role involves editing and producing a variety of original programming for sports and entertainment, requiring creativity and collaboration across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short and long-form content, including features, interviews, sponsored content, trailers, teases, promos, and commercials year-round.
• Develop multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion under the guidance of the Executive Producer.
• Work with internal and external parties on branded content development to produce high-quality end products.
• Write and edit scripts for various projects.
• Collaborate with a team of producers, editors, cinematographers, and motion graphics designers, emphasizing innovative thinking.
• Pitch new concepts to the Executive Producer and the Content team.
• Shoot interviews and/or events as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years professional experience as an Editor/Producer for a major sports team or major media brand.
• Demonstrable experience creating and producing compelling programming across various genres and formats for all media platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in all facets of production processes, including the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in a sports environment is preferred.
