About the position

As a Video Editor/Producer at Ideavillage, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-converting video content for various platforms, including television, e-commerce sites like Amazon and Walmart, and social media channels. This role involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency and optimizing content for maximum engagement. You will also have the opportunity to experiment with AI-driven content creation tools, keeping the company at the forefront of industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit high-quality video and static content for use across e-commerce platforms, television, and social media.
  • Conceptualize and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Optimize video and images for various platforms, adhering to specific guidelines for each.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay ahead of visual trends, platform updates, and best practices in video creation to elevate content quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Continuously iterate and improve designs based on feedback from various teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, ideally with a focus on TV commercials, e-commerce, and digital content creation.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and other relevant tools in the Adobe Suite.
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling, high-converting videos across various platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon and Walmart, as well as social media channels.
  • Knowledge of AI content creation platforms (RunwayML, MidJourney, etc.) is a significant plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer marketing and content production.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles related to video and image optimization.
  • Experience in working within a CPG or fast-paced e-commerce environment.
