The Video Editor (Spanish Speaking) position at Jedi Marketing involves creating and editing video content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand voice and high-quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Assemble footage into rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining professional standards.
  • Add music, sound effects, dialogue, visual effects, and graphics to enhance video quality.
  • Receive and implement notes from producers and clients.
  • Organize workload, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
  • Quality check videos and deliverables to ensure all assets meet standards and specifications.
  • Report any issues that might impact progress or quality.
  • Actively contribute ideas to improve post-production processes and workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date on new editing techniques and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
  • Work as a team on complex and large-scale projects.

Requirements

  • Proficient in video editing using Adobe Creative Suite products.
  • At least 1-2 years of post-production experience.
  • Deep understanding of social media culture and how to create timely content.
  • Creative and well-versed in short-form video content culture.
  • Organized, communicative, and able to provide and receive feedback professionally.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.
  • Technical knowledge of camera formats and video codecs.
  • Creative problem solver who can troubleshoot technical and editorial issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Health and Beauty Products.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not necessary.
