About the position

As a Video Editor for Amazon's Transportation Partner Experience (TPX) team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our messaging and brands to life through engaging multimedia content. This position is designed for a creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about visual storytelling. You will be responsible for producing bespoke video content that supports communications efforts for Amazon's Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and Amazon Freight Partners (AFPs). These partners are essential to Amazon's ability to deliver millions of packages globally, and your work will help communicate vital business information and program updates to them. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Communities and Communications, to leverage both new and archival video assets. You will review project assignments, understand creative briefs, and execute video editing tasks using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Your responsibilities will include integrating raw video elements, color correcting, sweetening audio tracks, and ensuring that all final deliverables meet high-quality standards. You will also be expected to pitch new video concepts and collaborate with project requesters and third-party agency partners to ensure that all creative needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong video editing capabilities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple competing projects. You will need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and have a keen eye for detail to deliver compelling stories that resonate with our audiences. This in-house role requires both independent work and collaboration with cross-functional teams, making it essential for you to be adaptable and proactive in your approach to creative execution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal TPX teams like Communities and Communications to leverage new and archival video assets into new video creative assets.
  • Review internal TPX Creative team intake form for new project assignments and track ongoing work.
  • Review creative briefs to understand asset needs and requirements and execute consistently against these needs.
  • Write, communicate, and revise creative briefs for TPX and business partners.
  • Integrate raw video elements of any format, size, or spec into post production software (Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Edit and deliver against multiple ongoing deliverables.
  • Unify disparate b-roll and final assets by color correcting in post-production software.
  • Sweeten audio tracks in post-production software.
  • Submit reviews for approval and revise based on feedback to deliver a bar-raising final product.
  • Look around corners and concept, pitch, and deliver new video creative.
  • Collaborate and communicate with all project requesters and 3P agency partners; facilitate discovery/kick off calls to understand project needs.
  • Identify and flag complex creative project asks to the TPX Creative Director for 3P agency assignment and execution.
  • Upon successful project completion, upload all assets, formats, and deliverables to internal DAM platforms and tools.

Requirements

  • 6+ years digital design experience and execution.
  • 4+ years background working in or alongside a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with other designers, writers, art directors, and/or marketing managers.
  • 5+ years demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • 2+ years demonstrated proficiency with post-production coloring software such as DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
  • 2+ years demonstrated proficiency with post-production audio software such as Adobe Audition or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years working with an established brand(s) for a large corporation.
  • 2+ years demonstrated proficiency in motion/post-production software such as After Effects.
  • Experience creating video content for quick-engagement platforms like social media, digital ads.
