About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the ability to edit content efficiently within tight deadlines. This part-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to choose your own hours while working up to 30 hours a week. The role requires a commitment to producing high-quality video content that aligns with project guidelines and objectives. You will work closely with the production team to understand the vision and goals for each project, ensuring that the final products are engaging and visually appealing. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for performing color grading to enhance the visual appeal and consistency of video content. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of each while implementing feedback from clients and team members to refine and improve video outputs. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new editing technologies is essential to continually improve your skills and techniques. Additionally, you will ensure that all content complies with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Edit video content according to project guidelines and objectives, ensuring high quality and engaging final products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of color grading techniques and experience using color correction tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
  • Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
