About the position

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in various video editing software.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos to include music, interviews, sound effects, and other elements.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video content.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into the videos.
• Create rough and final cuts of video projects.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry's best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
• Knowledge of typography, photo manipulation, and Adobe Bridge.
• Experience in film, post-production, video production, and Maya is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in video editing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop (1 year preferred).
• Experience in film and post-production.
