About the position
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in various video editing software.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos to include music, interviews, sound effects, and other elements.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video content.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into the videos.
- Create rough and final cuts of video projects.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry's best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
- Knowledge of typography, photo manipulation, and Adobe Bridge.
- Experience in film, post-production, video production, and Maya is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in video editing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop (1 year preferred).
- Experience in film and post-production.
