About the position

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling video content that aligns with our brand's vision and engages our audience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and proficiency in various editing software.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting or online distribution.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize motion graphics, typography, and graphic design elements to enhance video content.
• Incorporate 2D and 3D animation as needed to create visually appealing videos.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure the final product adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques to continuously improve skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Capture One, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of videography principles and techniques.
• Experience in content creation with a focus on cinema-quality production.
• Knowledge of typography, graphic design, motion graphics, and animation is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates your editing skills and creativity.
