About the position

The Video Editor at King Jesus International Ministry is responsible for manipulating and rearranging video shots to create new works, focusing on post-production tasks such as titling, color correction, and sound mixing. This role requires collaboration with production teams to capture a wide range of materials for various content types, including TV shows, music videos, and documentaries, while adhering to the church's vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and rearrange video shots to create new works.
• Perform post-production tasks including titling, color correction, and sound mixing.
• Capture a wide range of materials for TV shows, music videos, documentaries, and short films.
• Edit audio, music, and video using various software tools.
• Collaborate with production teammates to incorporate multimedia elements into video products.
• Operate cameras for in-studio and off-site recordings.
• Ensure adherence to brand and style guidelines in video production.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of experience in video editing and production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Experience with audio recording and editing software such as ProTools and Adobe Audition.
• Strong skills in non-linear video editing and various video encoding standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with music editing, mixing, and mastering.
• Familiarity with video encoding for DVD and web distribution.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
