About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team at Landmarq Digital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning content and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will help with short promotional videos, providing an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative individual to showcase their skills and gain more experience. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing footage to create cohesive and engaging videos, collaborating with team members to ensure seamless communication and project completion. You will utilize post-production software, and proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro is a must. Additionally, you will apply graphic design skills to create custom graphics, titles, and animations, and conduct regular reviews of edited material to ensure it meets the client's expectations and project goals. You will also attend video shoots to gather content, contributing to the overall production process.

Responsibilities

  • Edit footage to create cohesive and engaging videos.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and project completion.
  • Utilize post-production software, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Apply graphic design skills to create custom graphics, titles, and animations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of edited material to ensure it meets the client's expectations and project goals.
  • Attend video shoots to gather content.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in multiple video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience in graphic design, particularly with Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience in 3D animation and visual effects.
  • Familiarity with post-production techniques, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Experience in videography.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Experience with film and cinema techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in 3D animation and visual effects.
  • Familiarity with post-production techniques, including color grading and sound design.
