About the position

The Video Editor at Margle Media is responsible for creating engaging digital content for social media and broadcast television. This role emphasizes creativity and collaboration within a supportive team environment, focusing on high-profile national clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong videography and video editing skills, particularly in Adobe Creative Suite, and will be proactive in planning and executing projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create digital content including social media and broadcast television.
• Complete internal and client edits in an efficient manner.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team in concepting ideas.
• Ensure content aligns with client strategy in collaboration with the creative team.
• Explore new and innovative editing tactics.
• Provide on-set support including videography and photography.
• Create content for the Margle sales team to promote the agency across all social media platforms.

Requirements

• Social media video editing experience
• Proficient in Adobe CC software, specifically After Effects & Premiere
• Proactive planner with a sense of urgency, creativity, style and attention to detail
• Confident decision maker
• Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
