About the position

Dappz Sports is looking for an Entry-Level Video Editor to join their creative team. This role is focused on editing long-form podcasts and transforming that content into engaging clips suitable for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and possess a passion for storytelling through video.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form podcasts into polished, high-quality videos for distribution.
• Create short, impactful clips from podcasts tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Twitter.
• Work collaboratively with the production and social media teams to ensure content aligns with Dappz Sports' branding and style.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Incorporate basic motion graphics and visual effects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a major advantage.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Ability to work efficiently under quick turnaround times.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for sports and storytelling through video content is highly desirable.
