About the position

The Video Editor at WorldStrides will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness and engaging audiences through compelling multi-channel video content. This position involves handling post-production tasks for various types of videos, including marketing, sales, training, and recruiting. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with internal teams throughout the post-production cycle, ensuring high-quality final products that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Champion the brand across all video deliverables.
• Deliver exceptional creative videos from concept to completion that drive results.
• Edit provided content to develop engaging video stories for diverse audiences including parents, teachers, and students.
• Set production schedules in collaboration with Studio staff and stakeholders.
• Understand project briefs and contribute ideas to strengthen video outcomes for various formats (e.g., :15, :30, :60, 2min, 5min spots).
• Support organized data storage and create a searchable archive of all content.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Video Editor or in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in video production or a related field.
• Excellent post-production editing and motion graphics skills using Premiere, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar products.
• Demonstrated skills in animation, color correction, and design.
• Organizational skills to manage work and adhere to critical project timelines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities throughout the project stages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in photo editing.
