About the position

YETI is seeking a Video Editor to enhance its internal post-production capabilities. This role involves collaborating with a small, experienced content team to create engaging stories and multimedia projects that reflect the YETI brand. The ideal candidate will possess strong narrative skills, be organized, and manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit high quality videos quickly and independently
• Lead new initiatives and projects with limited supervision
• Work with footage from brand ambassadors and other sources to create new edits
• Collaborate with internal creative and content teams to concept and problem solve based on briefs
• Lead creation or assist with all aspects of production for various types of motion graphic video content
• Ensure the look, tone, and narrative arc of video content aligns with brand messaging
• Create video campaigns in collaboration with the internal creative department
• Communicate production and editing processes clearly to teams
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work proactively
• Version out final assets and manage closed captioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 4+ years' experience in video editing at an agency, post house, or brand
• Experience creating all forms of video content including long form, short form, commercials, and social videos
• High attention to detail when managing multiple video projects
• Positive and solution-based attitude
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with motion applications (After Effects & Audition)
• Comfort with autonomy and a nimble team structure
• Experience with original brand content and/or vertical video is a plus
• Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
