About the position

The Video Editor at The Rock Church and World Outreach Center is responsible for gathering content and producing high-quality video and media productions for church events and services. This role involves collaborating with ministry leads, managing live production, and ensuring that the church's vision is effectively communicated through video content.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with ministry leads during the brainstorming and early development process for video ideas.
• Sets up and films with professional camera equipment.
• Basic knowledge and workability with lighting.
• Basic knowledge and workability with audio recording.
• Direct the creativity process of the vision and 'tell the story' of live events by editing footage, motion graphics, music and scripting.
• Create motion graphics for videos using After Effects.
• Stay well versed in production software skills: After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Pro Presenter.
• Post sermons/videos on church web and app with the highest level of excellence.
• Maintain an understanding of the heart of the church and vision/goals of the senior pastors.
• Works closely with the production manager and creative director for large services/events.
• Must be able to lift 10 lbs, 20 lbs and 50 lbs worth of equipment on a regular basis.
• Direct 3-5 camera operators for live production events.
• Graphics/Video mixer operator.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related job experience.
