About the position

The Video Editor position at SWEARL LLC involves editing and producing high-quality video content, particularly in the realm of VR technologies. The role requires a motivated professional who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with team members, and ensure that all video outputs align with the company's marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and a passion for creative storytelling through visual media.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain RAW footage, project files, templates, and final edited videos.
  • Edit RAW footage into high-quality videos that align with the company's guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Perform audio mastering/cleanup and incorporate sound effects for enhanced storytelling.
  • Execute precise green screen keying to integrate subjects into various environments.
  • Conduct basic color grading.
  • Design and implement custom VFX elements that align with project requirements.
  • Utilize and adapt existing VFX assets and SFX effectively to meet creative and technical specifications.
  • Manage project timelines and communicate progress with team members.
  • Optimize/encode videos for different platforms and formats.
  • Edit multiple creative assignments from post-production through distribution while managing assigned project workflow and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to VFX composition, keying, and rendering.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of video editing experience with a demonstrable portfolio.
  • Proven experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or Davinci Resolve.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects without compromising quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times.
  • A great communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Blender/Nuke or any other 3D creation software.
