About the position

The Video Editor at OTTera Inc. will be responsible for creating engaging short-form video content for various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in video editing software and a creative mindset to produce high-quality multimedia content that aligns with the brand's visual identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate closely with various teams to bring video concepts to life.

Responsibilities

• Create short-form slates, sponsored videos, and social media content.
• Pitch, film, edit, and create video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to maximize exposure.
• Manipulate and edit film pieces for logical sequencing and flow.
• Collaborate with creative and engineering teams to implement multimedia content.
• Partner with social, marketing, and design teams to brainstorm and storyboard video concepts.
• Consult with team members throughout the product inception to post-production process.
• Develop concepts to enhance consumer understanding of services offered.
• Conduct in-house video production for global channels and localization for key markets.

Requirements

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Technical understanding of supporting post-production plug-ins (e.g., PluralEyes).
• Strong knowledge of different editing software programs.
• Attention to detail and creative storytelling skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas and take direction when necessary.
• Problem-solving skills for editing sequences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Expertise in 3D programs such as Cinema 4D.
• Motion graphics and animation experience.
• Understanding of the OTT and FAST streaming space.
