About the position

The Video Preditor role at a well-known children's publishing brand in NYC offers an exciting opportunity to produce, shoot, and edit video content specifically for social media, with a strong emphasis on TikTok. This full-time contract position is open-ended and promotes a positive work culture, allowing for a hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days per week onsite in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, produce, and edit a variety of video content, including filmed footage, motion graphics, stop motion, and animation.
• Lead video production efforts for social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on TikTok.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging, on-brand video content tailored to each platform.
• Manage end-to-end video production, from concept and script to shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Stay up-to-date with trends, platform updates, and best practices for social media video.

Requirements

• Experience shooting and video editing.
• Proficiency in designing motion graphics.
