Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and talented Video Producer / Content Creator who excels behind the camera and is comfortable in front of it. This role is perfect for a creative individual who is not only skilled in video editing but also has the charisma and confidence of a content creator, eager to engage directly with our audience. As part of our team, you will be crucial in crafting and presenting engaging video content that highlights the advanced professional management capabilities of MaidCentral. Your work will help cleaning industry leaders understand and utilize MaidCentral to drive profits, improve employee satisfaction, and boost customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, produce, and edit video content, serving as both creator and host when needed, to showcase the benefits and features of MaidCentral.
- Present content directly to the camera, delivering clear, engaging, and informative narratives that connect with our audience.
- Manage all stages of video production, from brainstorming and scripting to filming, editing, and distribution across platforms.
- Work closely with team members, industry leaders, and customers to coordinate interviews, gather footage, and create cohesive stories.
- Operate and maintain video and audio equipment, including managing lighting, sound, and other production elements to ensure professional quality.
- Edit videos to enhance visual appeal, incorporate graphics, sound, and other multimedia elements, and ensure content is optimized for various platforms.
- Actively incorporate feedback, adjust edits, and continuously refine content to meet MaidCentral's standards of excellence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a video content creator, with a portfolio showcasing both behind-the-camera and on-camera work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent video editing software.
- Familiarity with digital cameras, production equipment, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives and scripts.
- Confidence and comfort speaking directly to an audience on camera.
- Knowledge of video compression, sound editing, and basic animation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
