About the position

The Video Producer/Editor at Nashville Soccer Club plays a crucial role in the creative development and execution of video content that represents the Club's brand and messaging. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about video production and editing, and who thrive in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to produce engaging video content for various platforms, including the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and the Club's social media channels. In this role, you will be responsible for shooting video during matches, practices, and events, as well as editing highlights and creating social media content. The position requires a high volume of projects throughout the year, necessitating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will also coordinate all logistics for video shoots, ensuring that each project runs smoothly from conception to completion. This position reports directly to the Director of Video Production, providing an excellent opportunity for mentorship and professional growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and create dynamic video content for multiple platforms, including MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and Nashville SC social channels, that aligns with organizational messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and assist with the planning of content production projects.
  • Coordinate all logistics for video shoots.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in TV/Video/Digital Creative roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced experience with video editing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cinema and DSLR cameras.
  • Understand the Principles of Cinematography: Composition, Lighting and Framing.
  • Ability to be a team player, contribute ideas and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.
  • Willingness to contribute creative ideas and experiment with various cinematic styles.
  • Understanding of the traditional story arc and ability to edit a piece through the viewer/fan perspective.
  • Available Nights, Weekends and Holidays.
