About the position

Tesla's Product Knowledge team is seeking a Video Producer to support the Sales and Delivery Operations team. This role involves planning, producing, editing, and delivering both customer-facing and internal product education videos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media production and a collaborative spirit, contributing creatively throughout the production process while ensuring effective communication and learning promotion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on content requests and propose media solutions, including co-writing scripts and speaking points.
• Manage multiple projects with changing scopes and timelines, coordinating deadlines effectively.
• Shoot videos using various camera techniques, manage sound, and set up lighting for both in-studio and on-location shoots.
• Direct on-screen talent to accurately reproduce human interactions using standard visual composition and exposure theory.
• Utilize editing tools to adhere to corporate guidelines and visual standards, incorporating motion graphics and refined audio.
• Assist in maintaining and expanding the internal knowledge base, organizing production resources, and archiving content.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience producing media.
• Strong grasp of camera and lighting configurations, production audio, and performance coaching.
• Ability to plan, execute, and ship multiple projects simultaneously, including developing scripts and shot lists.
• Understanding of OS X, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Suite Apps, and Office 365.
• Professional experience with industry-standard cameras (DJI, Sony, GoPro, etc.) to achieve desired looks from shot lists.
• Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to produce projects independently on short notice.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data asset management (DAM) systems.
• Familiarity with motion graphics software.
• Knowledge of corporate video production standards.
