About the position
The Video Producer at Bowling Green State University is responsible for creative video production and photography for the Office of Marketing and Brand Strategy. This role involves implementing visual ideas into images and short-form videos for various university platforms, managing a student video production team, and ensuring high-quality video and photographic content.
Responsibilities
- Provide photography, videography, and artistic vision for university departments and offices.
- Manage video production student team, including scheduling and training.
- Plan, execute, and perform video productions, including quality assurance and post-production functions.
- Catalog and organize the University's digital archives of photographs and video.
- Collaborate with various departments on projects related to stories and creative content.
- Attend staff and division-wide meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1 year of experience in photography, photo editing, film, video editing, or media production applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism, Visual Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Film Production or related degree.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience in Digital Asset Management systems.
- Experience using a drone.
