About the position

The Videographer will play a crucial role in the marketing team by conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality videos that highlight luxury furniture products and the brand's lifestyle. This position focuses on creating formal lifestyle videos, behind-the-scenes content, and engaging social media reels, requiring a strong understanding of video trends and proficiency in editing software.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content including formal lifestyle videos and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Edit and refine video footage using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
  • Apply color correction, sound design, and transitions to create polished final products.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, text, and branding elements into videos.
  • Adapt content for various channels, including polished videos for websites and dynamic content for social media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with brand vision and marketing goals.
  • Develop innovative video content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Work with other creative professionals to create cohesive campaigns.
  • Ensure high production quality in all video outputs, from lighting to post-production edits.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple video projects, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Maintain a strong organizational system for video files and footage.
  • Manage the entire video production process from pre-production to post-production.
  • Develop a consistent video style that reflects the brand's sophistication.
  • Stay updated with video trends and incorporate innovative ideas for audience engagement.
  • Provide creative input for improving video concepts and storytelling.
  • Coordinate with Marketing ops to get products to the studio for videos.
  • Work with all departments to meet their video needs, including marketing, quality assurance, and events.
  • Participate in strategic and creative concept development for video collaterals.
  • Assist the photographer with studio, event, and showroom photography as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a creative videographer for at least 2 years preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in lifestyle videos and social media content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, Canva, and After Effects.
  • Substantial understanding of social media platforms and video trends, particularly in short-form content.
  • Expertise in video technology, equipment, and techniques including editing and archiving.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen sense of aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of production processes for publishing and uploading on multiple video platforms.
  • Experience in the luxury or high-end product industry.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop and ability to work with digital images.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to own video projects from beginning to end.

Nice-to-haves

  • Motion graphics or animation skills are a plus.
