About the position

The Videographer and Content Editor plays a crucial role within the Film team at Connection Pointe Christian Church, responsible for creating and editing engaging video content that supports the church's mission. This position involves collaboration with the marketing team to produce compelling social media content, in-service videos, and sermon recordings, ensuring that all materials resonate with the church's vision and community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to film and edit compelling social media content.
• Edit ongoing content including event recaps, in-service videos, and supporting ministry videos.
• Oversee and edit the service and sermon content that will be posted on the website and social platforms.
• Stay updated on editing trends and techniques.
• Take feedback well and edit with quick turnaround times.
• Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours of being in the office.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Strive to improve personal and professional skills by seeking and participating in learning opportunities.
• Attend a weekly service to stay in tune with the direction of Connection Pointe and to continue developing spiritually.

Requirements

• A portfolio that includes filming and editing samples is required.
• 1-2 years or more of content creation experience preferred.
• Proficient with Davinci Resolve.
• Experience filming and editing engaging social media content.
• Competent knowledge of lighting equipment and using cinema cameras.
• A collaborative team player who can also work well independently.
