About the position

This position is for a Videographer and Photographer to assist with an Esports event in Garland, TX. The role involves capturing video and photo content during a half-day shoot, focusing primarily on b-roll footage and light interviews. The ideal candidate should be skilled in operating a gimbal and comfortable using a Sony camera to achieve cinematic shots.

Responsibilities

• Capture b-roll footage using a gimbal for the majority of the shoot.
• Conduct light interviews as scheduled during the event.
• Bring necessary equipment including a tripod, small lighting, gimbal, lav mic, and camera.
• Ensure all footage is shot in 10-bit 4K resolution.
• Photograph the event using flash for event capture.

Requirements

• Experience in videography and photography, particularly in event settings.
• Proficiency in operating a Sony camera on a gimbal.
• Ability to shoot in 10-bit 4K resolution.
• Familiarity with portable lighting options, such as Pavo tubes.
• Demonstrated ability to capture cinematic b-roll shots.
