We are looking for a Videographer and Production Coordinator to join our video production company with flexible options to start part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability. This position is perfect for someone passionate about videography and photography, with an eye for detail and a drive to create beautiful visual stories. Whether you're looking for a side gig or a full-time position, this role offers the opportunity to grow within our company. As we plan to open a studio in late 2024 or early 2025, you will be an integral part of setting up and operating in the studio space. Candidates must be comfortable commuting to Aurora up to 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities include shooting video content for a variety of projects, including short documentaries, event recaps, promotional videos, and social media content. You will also capture high-quality photos for content creation and marketing materials, and edit both videos and photos to ensure professional-quality deliverables. Working with professional equipment, including Sony a7siii, Zoom F6, professional microphones, and drones (drone license training provided if needed) is essential. You will plan and execute shoots independently and with the creative director, maintaining a professional demeanor and communication with clients on set. In addition to video and photo production, you will assist with creative planning for video shoots and photo sessions. Any additional skills such as graphic design or web development are a plus and may be utilized in various projects. You will help manage and organize production gear, ensuring it is prepped and ready for shoots, and assist in keeping the studio space clean and organized. Editing videos from start to finish and editing photos for marketing, social media, or client deliverables will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage multiple video and photo projects at once and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, ensuring all projects stay on schedule, from pre-production through post-production. Travel to location shoots as needed, including nationwide travel 1-2 times per month, is expected. Occasionally working weekends may be required, though work/life balance will be maintained. This role offers a flexible work environment with opportunities for remote work, but in-person studio work will be required most days once the studio opens in late 2024 or early 2025. Ongoing training will be provided to help develop your skills.
