About the position

The Videographer and Video Editor Internship is a part-time role designed for students pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field. The internship offers hands-on experience in filming and editing video content for various platforms, including web and social media. Interns will collaborate with creative teams to plan shoots and will receive training and coaching to enhance their skills and build a professional portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Filming video in-store, on-site, and on location as needed
• Working with creative and media buy teams to plan video shoots
• Editing footage after recording for use on web, YouTube, and social media platforms
• Performing all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Marketing or other related major, preferably in Junior or Senior year of the program
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with content creation, videography, and editing
• High level of proficiency using Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and other editing platforms
• Ability to work and contribute in a collaborative team environment
• Strong work ethic and high sense of accountability/ownership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem-solve
• Capacity to work 20-25 hours per week in South Salt Lake corporate office and travel to store locations
