About the position

We are seeking a skilled Videographer Assistant to support a two-hour pick-up shoot aimed at re-creating an interview. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about videography and has a solid understanding of camera work and lighting techniques. The shoot will take place in Northridge, CA, and will last for approximately 2.5 hours, including setup and breakdown time. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the setup of the shoot, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly, and helping to create a professional and visually appealing interview environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with the lead videographer to achieve the desired results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up camera equipment for the shoot.
• Help with the arrangement of three-point lighting for optimal video quality.
• Support the lead videographer during the interview re-creation process.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before the shoot begins.
• Assist in breaking down equipment after the shoot is completed.
