The Videographer/Editor Assistant at Young Scholars Academy is a creative role focused on storytelling through visual media. The position involves both filming and editing high-quality video content for various projects, including promotional materials and internal communications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with team members to develop concepts and manage post-production tasks, ensuring that the final products align with project goals.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional materials, events, and internal communications.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and storyboards that align with project goals.
• Manage post-production tasks, including color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics integration.
• Maintain organized files and archives of all video assets for easy retrieval and reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and video editing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video production techniques, including filming, lighting, and sound recording.
• Strong experience with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator).
• Familiarity with motion graphics creation is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in videography and post-production is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
