About the position

Circle City Church is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer/Editor to join our vibrant ministry team. This role focuses on storytelling through visual media, requiring expertise in video production and editing. The ideal candidate will capture high-quality footage, edit content for various platforms, and collaborate with team members to produce engaging video projects that align with the church's vision.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional materials, short films, events, worship services, and ministry announcements.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
• Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, sound editing, and adding graphics or animations as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and video editing.
• Create graphics for ministry events and sermon graphics.
• Assist in photography when required to complement video content.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator) and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes and techniques.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives through visual media.
• Knowledge of film production techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a ministry environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver tasks timely.
• Working knowledge of Sony (a7iii & FX3) cameras, preferred.
• Experience working in church/ministry settings.
