About the position

The Videographer/Editor at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is responsible for creating and editing video content for various projects and assignments. This role involves collaborating with leadership to conceptualize and deliver high-quality video content while ensuring the availability and maintenance of necessary equipment. The position is integral to enhancing the hospital's communication and outreach efforts through effective visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Create new video content for various projects and assignments.
• Edit existing video content to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to conceptualize video content.
• Ensure the availability and quality of equipment needed for video shoots.
• Maintain a safe environment according to CHLA policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience producing and editing digital content for online and offline channels.
• Solid knowledge of video and audio standards for digital video and DSLR video equipment.
• Professional experience operating HD cameras, audio mixers, and lighting equipment.
• Strong understanding of framing, lighting, and audio equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in critical care videography.
• Familiarity with pediatric healthcare settings.
