About the position

CJ Pony Parts is seeking a full-time creative Videographer to join our Creative Marketing Department in Harrisburg, PA. The Videographer will play a crucial role in directing, shooting, mixing, and editing all video content for the company. This position will focus heavily on organizing and editing video materials, particularly product videos that demonstrate functionality and installation, as well as automotive culture videos that promote the company, events, or the latest industry news in an engaging manner for our customers. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include recording videos that require acting and/or dialogue in coordination with On-Screen Talent and Product Specialists. You will also produce graphics for use within video content, import and edit raw footage to create finished videos, and work with vendor representatives on-site to shoot product promotion videos. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating video content efficiently when items or characteristics change, navigating all necessary programs to successfully post completed videos to required media outlets, and producing video content at a consistent quality and pace. You will also record non-product and marketing-centric video content for internal company use, capture video off-site for special events, pull featured products from inventory for on-screen shooting, mix and edit all captured video content, format, upload, and publish video content to media outlets, maintain YouTube pages, and add video links to Magento and InOrder. Administrative tasks such as answering phones and responding to emails will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Update video content in a clean and efficient manner when items/characteristics change.
• Navigate all programs required to successfully post a completed video to all required media outlets.
• Produce video content at a consistent quality and pace.
• Record non-product/marketing centric video content for internal company use.
• Record video off-site for special events.
• Pull featured products from inventory to shoot on-screen.
• Mix and edit all video content captured.
• Format, upload, and publish video content to media outlets.
• Maintain YouTube pages.
• Add video links to Magento and InOrder.
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and responding to e-mails.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a college or technical school preferred.
• 1-3 years of related videographer/video editing experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong shooting and lighting skills for 4K High-Definition video in a studio and on location.
• Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve, Motion, and Adobe Suite.
• Time-management skills to handle multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency using/managing YouTube account.
• Ability to consult with internal customers to understand their video/editing needs.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Nice-to-haves

• HTML coding experience a plus.
• Automotive industry knowledge or interest a plus (restoration, performance, aftermarket parts).
