About the position

The Videographer/Editor role at Vagaro is a temporary position focused on creating engaging video content that supports the marketing efforts of the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing, Design, and Creative Teams to produce videos that highlight Vagaro's software and its benefits to customers. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling and technical skills in videography and editing.

Responsibilities

• Understand Vagaro's mission, products, and voice
• Film, edit, and deliver video content for the Creative Marketing Team (ads, feature releases, customer stories, and social posts)
• Operate and maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Stay updated on advancements in camera, lighting, audio, and video editing technology
• Assist with pre-production, including brainstorming, storyboarding, creating shot lists, and voice-over recording

Requirements

• Advanced experience in DSLR filming, lighting, and audio recording
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Adobe Suite (or equivalent) and Mac OSX
• Strong editorial sense, including timing, performance, and music selection
• Excellent attention to detail, writing skills, and troubleshooting abilities
• A current video portfolio website
• 4+ years of experience in videography

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Film, or Communications
• Skills in 2D Motion Graphics Design/Animation or Photography
