The Videographer/Editor at MGM Resorts International plays a crucial role in creating and developing content for visual storytelling across various platforms. The Videographer/Editor is responsible for producing compelling content that resonates with audiences across multiple properties and lines of business, ensuring that each piece of content aligns with the brand's vision and marketing goals. In this role, the individual will utilize their insight and sound decision-making capabilities to capture, organize, and execute creative and innovative videos tailored for digital marketing use on platforms such as social media and websites. The Videographer/Editor will be expected to execute best practices specific to various marketing channels, developing video concepts and storyboards either independently or in collaboration with writers, directors, and editors. A key aspect of the job is ensuring that video production effectively captures the intended visual representation and meets execution standards. The Videographer/Editor will also be responsible for planning, researching, and recommending production budgets for necessary equipment and software. This includes managing the scouting of filming locations, assessing potential obstacles, and providing innovative solutions that meet stakeholder expectations and budget constraints. The role requires directing video shoots both independently and in collaboration with creative and marketing teams, demonstrating the ability to innovate high-volume videographic workflows that reduce operational costs while enhancing the quality of the produced imagery. Additionally, the Videographer/Editor will lead collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and broadcast production teams to meet deadlines and ensure adherence to content guidelines. This position demands a proactive approach to overcoming artistic differences during strategic explorations, providing guidance on industry trends and techniques. Continuous improvement is a core focus, as the Videographer/Editor will evaluate digital media landscapes to identify new camera and editing design techniques that can enhance the overall production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop content for visual storytelling across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of prior relevant experience in video production.
