About the position

The Videographer/Editor at Reflex Media is responsible for creating and producing high-quality video content for various purposes, including advertisements, documentaries, and online content. This role encompasses the entire production process, from developing ideas and scripting to filming and editing. The Videographer/Editor collaborates with the marketing team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the studio equipment and staying updated with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce video content for advertisements, documentaries/webisodes, and social media.
• Develop ideas and concepts for video projects, overseeing the production process from start to finish.
• Create videos from scripting and storyboarding through editing, including motion graphics, color grading, and sound editing.
• Work with the creative team on scripting, storyboarding, filming, and editing video footage.
• Ensure productions are completed on time and within budget.
• Create video/artwork that applies strategic marketing and branding for multiple brands.
• Film and capture content material using video camera equipment.
• Design creative content including After Effects/motion graphics and video editing/production.
• Proof and edit artwork, motion graphics, and text for all mediums.
• Communicate with internal company departments.
• Conceptualize and design new elements to suit the needs of the growing business.
• Prepare the final video product for publishing.
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques, identifying opportunities to improve video production capabilities.
• Maintain post-production equipment for in-office and field usage.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with high-end professional editorial and motion graphics experience.
• Experience creating video campaigns within the luxury segment.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working on set with talent.
• Advanced motion graphics skills and a strong visual aesthetic.
• Experience integrating feedback from marketing experts and project stakeholders.
• Strong project organization and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator) and/or Final Cut Pro.
• 3D modeling/rendering experience (Cinema 4D, Nuke, Maya) is a plus.
• Audio production experience is a plus.
• Ability to produce basic Motion Graphics.
• Strong concept experience in video and digital environments.
• Professional photography experience and proficiency in set lighting for production.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Animation, Motion Graphics Multimedia Design or equivalent experience.
