About the position

Sportsman Boats is seeking a creative and skilled Videographer & Editor to join their marketing team. This role involves transforming ideas into engaging video content, scripts, and blog articles that resonate with audiences. The ideal candidate will be organized, innovative, and capable of producing high-quality content across various platforms, including the company website, YouTube, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling stories through high-quality videos of boats, employees, or lifestyle in the plant.
• Produce product videos on the water, at boat shows, or other special events.
• Research, write, and edit textual content for all marketing collateral.
• Photograph and edit high-quality images for use on the website, social media, and catalogs.
• Engage with customers online through social media with creative and exciting new weekly content.
• Attend occasional on-location photo shoots, events, and boat shows.

Requirements

• Knowledge of modern video equipment (Sony, DSLR cameras, action cameras, DJI drones, rigs).
• Strong portfolio of photography & videography (2+ years experience).
• Experience with Mac OS X, Premier Pro, After Effects, Creative Cloud with strong editing skills.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Organized and goal-oriented.
• Comfortable capturing shareable moments on the spot.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including extended periods offshore.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic knowledge of boats & parts.
• Bachelor's Degree in Photography, Videography, Marketing, Literature, or a related field.
