The Videographer/Editor position at House Heroes involves capturing and editing video content that showcases home renovation projects. Responsibilities

• Capture and edit weekly video content that highlights House Heroes' home renovation projects.
• Focus on capturing both the raw, behind-the-scenes footage and the best moments of each week.
• Promote House Heroes' website and all social media pages through creative and engaging video content.
• Ensure all content maintains a positive influence and outlook on the public pages, reflecting House Heroes' mission and brand values.
• Coordinate with the team for any special promotions, events, or additional content needs.
• Manage and organize video files and adhere to deadlines for posting content.

Requirements

• Experience with videography, including shooting and editing videos.
• Ability to follow a team through dynamic environments (construction, on-site work, etc.).
• Basic understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and video optimization for these channels.
• A creative eye and passion for storytelling through video.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working on-location and in a variety of settings, including renovation sites.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and dedication to maintaining a high standard of content that aligns with House Heroes' values.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in filming for at least 2 years.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
