About the position

The Videographer/Editor at Berry Law Firm is responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content that tells compelling stories in the legal field. This role emphasizes innovation and creativity, requiring expertise in video production across various formats, including long-form projects, social media, and podcasts. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced tools and technologies, including AI, to enhance content quality and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, including color grading, sound editing, and optimizing for various platforms and devices.
  • Develop compelling narratives that engage audiences and align with project goals, maintaining brand consistency across all content.
  • Produce videos across formats, including long-form, short-form, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Create and integrate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects to elevate storytelling and visual quality.
  • Design animations, titles, and transitions that enhance viewer engagement and bring stories to life.
  • Operate and maintain a range of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Plan, direct, and execute video shoots, including location scouting, setting up lighting, and ensuring optimal audio capture.
  • Edit and master audio for podcasts, ensuring high-quality sound and an engaging listening experience.
  • Contribute to creative development for podcasts, including idea generation and collaborative brainstorming.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with AI tools and technologies in video/audio production, such as AI-powered editing software, automated transcription, and content analysis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor with a portfolio showcasing video, motion graphics, and audio work.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Experience in color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of podcast editing and production workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

  • YouTube Certification.
  • Experience with AI-powered video/audio tools (e.g., Runway ML, Descript, or Adobe's AI features).
  • Familiarity with various podcast platforms and distribution channels.
  • Knowledge of advanced camera systems and complex lighting setups.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles for video content.
