About the position

OneHope, Inc. is seeking a creative and skilled VIDEOGRAPHER / EDITOR to join our studio team in Pompano Beach, FL. This full-time position involves planning, shooting, and editing both short and long-form digital content. The ideal candidate will work closely with studio producers and various departments to create high-quality, engaging stories that resonate with our stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of video production processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners. In this position, you will be responsible for executing professional video shoots using DSLR cameras, which includes on-location filming and multi-camera studio setups. You will edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with the producers' and clients' vision, ensuring that all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style. Additionally, you will enhance the storytelling aspect of the videos through post-production techniques, including adding visual effects, music, sound design, and narration. The role also involves maintaining an organized library of video assets for easy retrieval and reuse, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest video production tools, software, and best practices. A genuine interest in and commitment to the company's mission and values is essential, as you will be creating content that supports our international work and engages diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and execute professional video shoots with DSLR cameras, including on-location filming and multi-camera studio setups.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos using industry-best practices that match the producers/clients vision.
  • Add visual effects, music, sound design, and narration to enhance the storytelling and overall impact of the videos during post-production.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and external partners to gather footage, conduct interviews, and source content.
  • Work closely with studio producers and the communication team to develop and execute video concepts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of video production tools, software, and best practices.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets for easy retrieval and reuse.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in a lead video production role.
  • Proven experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong skills in crafting engaging and impactful narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with video production equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting, and sound.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate in the creation of visual content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to the company's mission and values.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in additional software tools, such as After Effects for motion graphics or DaVinci Resolve for color correction.
  • Degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or related experience.
