About the position

We are looking for a skilled Videographer/Editor to capture and produce high-quality video content that supports our church's activities and programs. This role will report to the Production Director on all film services, events, and other church-related activities, and edit the footage to create engaging and professional content that aligns with our church's vision and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Film worship services, church events, and other activities, ensuring the high-quality video reflects the spirit and message of our church.
  • Edit raw footage into polished final products, including worship services, announcements, and promotional materials. Tasks include color correction, audio enhancement, and integrating graphics or text overlays. The final products will be approved by the Production Director.
  • Work closely with the Production and Communications Director's to understand project needs and ensure that the content supports our church's mission and messaging.
  • Maintain, manage, and safely store video equipment. Ensure everything is in good working condition and ready for use.
  • Assist the Production Director with pre- and post-production for all required church services, events, or activities. Meet deadlines and adapt to the needs of the church.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer and editor with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, and similar tools.
  • Experience with video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear such as Blackmagic, Sony, Neewer lighting, and Hollylands.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce compelling and inspirational video content.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a church environment.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for church services and events.
