About the position

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our team at Southern Elite Contracting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media, with the ability to capture, edit, and produce high-quality videos that align with our brand's vision and goals. You will work closely with our Sales Representatives and Clients to create engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and promotional campaigns. This role is essential in helping us communicate our services effectively and showcase our projects through compelling video content. As a Videographer, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing video content, ensuring high-quality production from concept to completion. You will collaborate with Sales Representatives and Clients to plan video shoots, setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment to capture professional footage in various environments. After recording, you will edit the footage, adding computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to enhance the final product. You will also be responsible for preparing background film and posting videos to social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. In this role, you will need to travel to our office locations or client locations to capture necessary footage. You will manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of quality. This position requires a strong ability to work in fast-paced environments and adjust to changing project requirements, as well as strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with clients and the team, along with knowledge of post-production techniques. Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for extended periods is also necessary, as is proficiency in computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting. Please note that this is a 1099 role, and you must provide your own equipment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years of filming experience.
  • 3 years of video editing experience.
