The Videographer position at JoVE involves filming laboratory techniques and scientific experiments at research institutions in Arizona and surrounding areas. This role offers a unique opportunity to capture cutting-edge science footage and gain experience in recording microscopic images, while also fostering a long-term business relationship with a company in the biotechnology and digital media industry.

Responsibilities

• Film laboratory techniques and scientific experiments at research institutions.
• Upload footage after each shoot.
• Ensure high-quality video recording using professional equipment.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Access to a professional HD camera.
• Access to a wireless Lavalier microphone or directional microphone.
• Access to a 3-way fluid or gearhead tripod.
• Ability to travel within 200 miles of Tucson, AZ.
• Covid-19 vaccinated.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in filming scientific content.
• Familiarity with recording microscopic images.
• Possession of lighting kits and macro lenses.

Benefits
